Desk Reviews – Multifamily Accelerated Processing Quality Control
Gill Group is a contract reviewer for the Quality Control program concerning closed M.A.P. loans.  We have reviewed pre-app (when applicable) and firm appraisals and market studies (also when applicable) on 221(d)(3)/(4), 232/223(f), 232 and 223(f) loans as part of the third party review process.  These are substantive reviews to ensure that the lender’s third party appraisers have met minimum M.A.P. and USPAP guidelines as well as making recommendations to the lenders and their appraisers to help improve the quality of future third party reports.  All M.A.P. lenders are required to go through this process in order to continue making M.A.P. loans as per the latest M.A.P. QC guidelines.

Desk Reviews – Section 8 Contract Renewal
Gill Group is contracted to complete desk reviews for certified appraisers in several states such as North Carolina, New Mexico, Indiana, Louisiana, Kansas, Hawaii, Oregon and others. Our reviews are used to determine if the appraiser followed the HUD Section 8 Renewal Policy Guidelines and if the estimated market rents are reasonable and acceptable.
